We had a wonderful stay with amazing views from our room. The staff were helpful and the hotel was clean with good facilities. There was so much to do in the surrounding area and we enjoyed exploring the nearby town and experiencing the lovely restaurant. The complimentary tea, coffee, and soft drinks were a nice touch and we had a very comfortable night's sleep.

This hotel is a historic restored building with plush bathrobes and a stunning garden area. the queen size bed was comfortable and the room had exclusive amenities, like heated mirror in the bathroom. the owner was intelligent and welcoming. the laundry room with a washer and dryer was a delight for those of us on long trips. the bar/lounge area had a great variety of drinks, and free tea, coffee and soft drinks were available.
Although there were stunning public parlor room areas, they were on a different floor from our room, and the low doorway resulted in a head bump. the hotel was located next to a heavily traveled bridge, which created some noise.

Great small luxury hotel experience! the owners were welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. the rooms were spacious with amazing river views. the private patio was a great touch and we enjoyed the access to the river. the in-house restaurant was delicious with locally sourced ingredients. the breakfast was also top-notch. the hotel is in close proximity to local wineries.
The location was not ideal as it was located next to a main road which caused some disturbances. the town itself was not very interesting with few options for dining outside of the hotel.

The hotel's location was perfectly situated in an absolutely gorgeous little restaurant that had breathtaking views of the Derwent shoreline, making it a great place to relax after exploring down river. the rooms were comfortable and modern, and the bathrooms were immaculate. the staff was attentive and offered great service, and breakfast was delicious. the hotel had great facilities like a sauna and spa on site.
The hotel lacked variety in terms of dinner options.
